About East Ranch
Located in the rolling juniper-pinon country above the Galisteo Basin (elevation 6800 feet) is the exciting community of East Ranch. Just a few minutes from Santa Fe, the property offers fabulous views, extraordinary privacy, and quiet.
While the ridges are dominated by piñon and juniper trees, the vegetation in the swales and meadow areas is typical of Upper Sonoran grasslands. Common plants include short grasses (grama, musty, galleta, and dropseed), snakeweed, globe mallow, sand verbena, Lewis flax, and buffalo gourd. There is excellent ground cover and no visible erosion throughout the property.
